Not only products,
but a new way of life.

Born in Vicenza, Italy, he began his work in industrial design in 1990, also collaborating as an art director with prestigious Italian and foreign companies in the furniture sector. Designed on behalf of Assarredo the layout and coordinated image for the “Italy” pavilion at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne in 1992 and 1993, and also in 1992 the Italian pavilion at the “Interieur” fair in Vienna. In 1993 he participated in the exhibition “Dirattan” in Milan and in 1994 in the exhibition “projects and territories” at the fair abitare il tempo in Verona. Some products have been exhibited at MoMA in New York. In the same years he achieved the “Du Pont” awards in Cologne, “Young design” in Milan and “Casaidea” in Rome. In 2012 he received the Interior Innovation Award in Cologne for Interlübke’s “Bookless” product. In 1999, he opened STUDIO28 GINO CAROLLO with the goal of creating a qualified team to support companies in the industry. Product design linked to engineering and the creation of models and prototypes have proved to be tools that have enabled the firm to acquire concrete results over the years and to establish long-term collaborations. Studio 28’s industrial design activities have expanded in recent years with the inclusion of new areas of expertise with particular development in the field of architectural design of exhibition spaces, showrooms and corporate identity.

“Working with Arketipo is a free pass to build new perceptions of design, so the relationship with each designer is different. What doesn’t change is that the products are always the result of shared values and ideas confronted, and they are developed constructively in the ways and evolution that best suit the realization of the initial concept.”

“The brand everyone would like to work with.”

Oracle has been described as “an illusion,” a “structure that conforms to the law of indoor physics,” and even “a central point.” And the reason for this is evident in the articulated mix of materials, each bearing a different interpretation.

This work of interior engineering is as striking as it is thoughtful. It produces a balance, denotes know-how.

It is part philosophy, part design and part conceptual singularity.

This lamp is inspired by the concept of a universe structured in concentric circles, with a light as the central source and a concept of evolution symbolically expressed by the three spheres of three different diameters. The overlapping pure forms are associated with an element that conveys life: light.

Artificial and natural at the same time, the spheres are built to accent the environment and blend in with knowledge.

“We are all called to find balance in life.”
